Sheila joined the club in 2011 with her first dog, an English Cocker Spaniel called Eli. Despite having owned and worked with animals her entire life, she had never had a dog of her own and wanted to do things right. Eli excelled in his classes and Sheila was able to see the benefits of early training and good socialisation. She joined with her second Spaniel, Odin, in 2022, wanting the same benefits, as well as a dog that she could take almost anywhere. It was then that Julie approached her to become a puppy instructor.
Sheila is a teacher at a local private school. She is passionate about running and participates in both trail and road events. She enjoys going to the gym, traveling, baking, reading and a variety of outdoor activities, including horse riding.
