In Control Obedience

This course for graduates of our Beginners Programme, builds on your basic obedience exercises using a 3m lead to create control from a distance.

• Heelwork - we add change of pace, at the halt turns and advanced positions (sit, down and stand when you halt).
• Recall: To the front adding a half-way stop
  Stays: we do sit (2 mins), down (3 mins) and stand stays (30secs).
• Send to Bed - we teach the dogs to go and lie down on a mat.
• Entry Requirements: A pass in Beginner’s Obedience.
• Equipment: Halter, 1.2m lead, 3m lead, treats and mat.

On Command Obedience

This course for graduates of our Puppy 3 Course and In Control Course, builds on the exercises covered in our In Control Course adding some extra exercises:

• Heelwork: Including change of pace, at the halt turns and advanced positions (sit, down and stand when you halt).
• Recall: Directly into heel position (An A recall)
  Stays: we do sit (2 mins), down (3 mins) and stand stays (30secs).
• Distance Control: Down, Sit and Stand at the end of the lead.
• Retrieve and Holding an article or toy.
• Entry Requirements: A pass in In Control Obedience or Puppy 3.
• Equipment: Halter, 1.2m lead, 3m lead, treats and toy.

Unleashed Advanced Obedience

This course builds on the exercises covered in all of our courses adding scent work and send away.

• Heelwork: Including change of pace, at the halt turns and advanced positions.
• Recall: Directly into heel position (An A recall)
  Stays: we do sit (2 mins), down (5 mins out of sight) and stand stays (30secs).
• Scent descrimination using a scent cloth.
• Send Away to a cone.
• Entry Requirements: A pass in our On Command Course.
• Equipment: Halter, 1.2m lead, 3m lead, treats and toy.
